Default Dummy Cap for Fuel Gauge Side?

I want to replace my gascap with something cool but I dont want to spend $150 on a matching fuel gauge with LEDS on it! What are my options?

I went with a kuryakyn gas cap on the fuel guage side - looks good and easy mod to make. http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go...etail/IMID/398

You can find them for a reasonable price on ebay -

I'm actually surprised nobody is making nice looking, matching gas cap covers for the left side cap with fuel gauge cut-out. Harley makes one or two (aluminator version) but nothing really cool. Lots of stuff available to cover the right side cap... Search ebay for "harley fuel cap medallion"

Interested in this also, since the fuel gauge is pretty much a worthless piece anyway. Been searching, somewhat, and still haven't really found any good ideas, that don't cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks for the help guys! How is that fuel gauge attached? Is it screwed in or a press in fit? Does the gauge have anything to do with the miles remaining on the display?

I never can see the posted links to the Kuryakyn site. They all just take me to the main page, never to the product page.

Errr yeah, it must be there site because it does the same to me...... It was there fuel gauge/Battery meter gauge for the left side. It looks pretty sweet and it looks new.
