I was initially going to buy a new bike- but after going to a few dealerships and finding out about prep fees and all these other ridiculous fees that they WOULDN'T budge on I decided to go Private Party. Now- just as an FYI- I never ever pay MSRP on anything- but apparently when it comes to Harleys- that's a whole new ball of wax- at least out here in AZ. I am a negotiator from hell and they still wouldn't budge. Tell them a figure you are comfortable with and say you want your bike for that price TT&L out the door. If they can do it- great- otherwise wait- unless you really want it. But I would call them all instead of going in- much easier than wasting time driving all over the city to each place.

Buy used!! Why absorb all of that extra cost PLUS the depreciation the minute you ride it away from the dealership?

Greetings,

You can do better than that. Freight and prep can be waived...Yes dealers are doing that on 2010s, at least around here. Also angle for free first and 5000 mile services...Yes there's dealers doing that on 2010s as well.
