Default Throttle cable Routing

I recently changed out my throttle/idle cables with the Barnett Stealth Series and they seem to be too long. They're the same length as the stock cables. Im not sure if they run in front and through the forks or do they run completely behind Sorry for the blurry cell phone pic.

triple tree like the brake line ? Here is a pic of how they are currently running ..

SE can you slide them in more? Without causing a extreme bend? Have them pass the carb then come back to the carb. Cables running in front the trips are not going to look good IMO.

After looking at the pic are you running the cables through the clips that your wires are running through that may help?

They are routed the same way the stock ones were. That little p clip is only for the brake line. Nothing else will fit. Yea I agree as for running them in front. I recently changed to 4" risers, making the problem worse, they looked long with the stock 6", Now they look even longer.

Athough I have read several threads that guys have kept their stock cables when going to the 4" risers.

Should route the same as stock one's. It's very important that they be routed correctly. BTW I looked at the vid of your SE Fatboy and was just wondering....Was the button where to right turn signal usually is a primer or something? Sorry, couldn't resist.

Sorry I was talking about the wires coming from the trips if you run it through there it will move it up and in some and not be hanging out there? Just a thought, M
