has anybody had the screaming eagles slip on muffles on there harley if so do they sound good.......i am thinking of putting them on my new fatboy lo. i had the rush slip on on my 2009 lowrider they were preety good.......i know the stock muffles on the fatboy lo sound like sh--t lol...they may look good that is about it thank you people**
I've used those on Softails I've owned...Not loud enough for me....In fact they aren't much louder than stock. So, in both cases I've sold them and went with a Vance and Hines setup.

Even though they were not loud enough for you, they do change the exhaust tone to more of a deep harley sound dont they?
I dont want mine much louder, just that rumble, the stock mufflers to me sound like a bubble car in a cheesey disney movie! LOL
The SE slip ons are loud enough for me and have a nice sound. I'm happy with them. More noise from the exhaust would just give me a headache.
Hey, thanks to you and rickb, I dont like alot of noise crusing myself.
I do like for it to have a little bark when I get on it but not be obnoxous.
I had the scremin eagle II's on my sportster and liked them but they would give me a headache after a while of steady riding.
They say the new screamin eagles are not quite as loud and that sounds about like what im looking for.
I have them on my FB...deeper rumble than the stock but not ear piercing at all...I like them...could be deeper though...we have V&H on our Street Bob....I think they are too loud but have a really nice deep tone and pop when you are down shifting.
If you pull the baffles out and throw away the fiberglass, you will get a better sound and its not too loud either. My bike actually performs better without the fiberglass. I did not have to retune it or anything.

Have to agree, great sound and legal here. I had mine done at the 1st service as a SE stage 1 kit.
But now i've just had the 103" stage 4 kit installed and the guys took the fiberglass packing out to help with the tuning and it's got an even better sound, great idle and a little bit of bark/raspiness. The guys seem to favor the stock headers with this setup. If I get any problems with noise I'll fit the stock slip-on's, pass the test and, well of course back on with the SE's. ; )
