Default Chrome Lower Forks

Does anyone have any info - good or bad - on Hill Country Customs chrome lowers. They are about $75 cheaper then HD for the 07-09 and I am all about saving money. They have a one year warranty but I can not find any other info on them? The money saved will pay for the uppers if they are any good.

Thanks

Have you priced the discount HD (online) sellers?

I only paid around $200 for genuine hd lowers for my Heritage a while back.

I bought a brand new HD kit for my Deluxe off of ebay for ~$300. Included the lowers, cowbells, spacers, caps, etc, all chrome. Good deals are out there if you look and stay patient.

Either Zinatti's or Chicago HD. I buy stuff from both of them and don't recall which one I got the lowers from. It was over a year ago. Pretty sure it was Chicago HD. Both places have good prices online.

Yup. You will notice it more when you put chrome right next to it. You gotta have the lowers off to change them, so get them now.
