I am thinking of some lighting mods on my Fat Boy Lo.
Advice and thoughts are welcome.
Is there a better tail light than stock?..brighter? more visible?
I am thinking the signal lights in the rear should be higher...more visible to cagers?

Front lighting...should i go with aux...or use the rectangular fogs with engine guard?
AND...what about connections? Do I look for plug ins? How do I know if I am overloading the electric system.

The run/brake/turn plug-in kit from harley really lights up the back of the bike.

Cool

check the DIY Cheap Mods pages, I believe there's a post on how to wire ur rear signals to use them as run/turn/brake.
U have to use a double filament bulb for it though.but it's really cheap and works

Well that explains that. But I have an Idea for you. How about going to home depot to the plumbing section and get a chrome supply tube. you can bend it however you want. And you can hide your electric lines.

i did just that but the pipe will need threaded and it is chrome over copper. i will also need to buy a thread kit and i think after threading it the tube will not be that strong.

Run turn brake module with Custom Dynamics LED's. The led's are frikin bright. Checkout the Badlander run, turn, brake module. It has the load balance for led's built in and it will put the led's at 30% when running, and 100% when braking. Much better contrast for led's. I should have got that one... Aux lights up front, but just adding lighting can only help.

Then how about an electrical supply store. (not home depot or lowes ) They may have some hollow all thread. I just don't know what it would be made out of though. But might be worth a look.
