Love the black pipes on the Night Train. Those that have them, did they all come that way or did you have them coated (jet-hot?) or what?

ya know, i'm interested in this too, not just for the NT but i am having a hard time finding any kind of black pipe at all.

i did see some Santee's w/ black wrinkle coated heat shields (at the arlen ness shop the other day) but i can't seem to find them in a catalog or online anywhere!?

I'm running RB Racing pipes - ordered black from them. They are ceramic coated.

 

I have an 06 NT and was considering blackening out the whole bike (forks, braided line covers, exhaust, etc.). I decided not to do such a thing, 'cause as my wife pointed out that a "stealthy" bike at night could be dangerous because others may not be able to see you well. Ahhhh, the voice of reason has spoken and once again made a solid point. Anyway, I was looking for black pipes before all that. Hooker Headers is due to release a set of black pipes at the end of this month. Haven't found too many other makers of the black pipes, other than Hooker and the other ones mentioned.
