Default Rocker Seat...

Anyone have any experience with the accordian style seats from bitchinseats.com?? Just curious how drastic the ride quality change is. The Rocker's already almost like riding a rigid, I can only imagine how much worse it would be with the back of the seat moving up and down as well.

Yeah, I wasn't looking at getting one...Just came across it and looks like an alternative way to clean up the gap between the seat and fender without doing a Heartland kit. But the rides gotta be killer on the back on extended rides...especially with the roads here in Virginia.

Their seats are a little pricey for me.

I put a bunch of miles on my accordian seat. I like it a lot but never had the "pleasure" of comparing it to the stock seat. Picked the bike up new and rode it from VA to CA and I was fine. Put a few miles on it in Europe too and no problems. I'd recommend it hands down. My last bike was a '65 Triumph rigid and THAT thing was hard on the back. When I bought the seat the owner suggested I upgrade the stock shocks to Progressives but even after 5,000 miles I'm in no hurry yet. The Rocker looks retarded with the gap; it's too bad Harley didn't consult someone before production so I didn't have to spend my kid's college money on the new seat (but it was worth every penny).
