Default Fat Boy 2006 Saddle problems

I have loosen the rearscrew and the two on the side of the saddle (The three screws with a little springcoil). According to the manual it should be enough to get the saddle of, by sliding it back
But it´s like it is glued to the bike.
What have I forgotten?

Sincerely,

T

Thumbs up

Try putting your fingers underneath and pulling OUTWARDS on both sides of the seat where the screws are. This should release it.

Tried that.. Does not release the saddle.
What I herd is to put pressure in a down/back direction by hitting the saddle with the hand.
I´ll try that tonight...

Problem solved. Used a kitchen wooden spoon.... Gently, gently at the side of the leftside attachement. Pop! Saddle loose and off!

+1. Usually have to hit mine on one side to get it dislodged, pops off then. Not sure what hangs it up - but it does get hung up most of the time... Definitely make sure the screws are unscrewed completely and that you can pull the sides out from the fasteners first.
