Default Wide tire kit

Hey all I just wanted to know what you all think about a 200mm wide tire on a 99 Night train. I just talked to Ame and he told me I can use my stock swing arm for this if I switch to a chain. Is this true. I was told that it cant fit on my stock swing arm. Just wanted to know what you all think/know.

Thanks Abe

Yes, you can fit a 200 in your stock 99' swingarm if you go to a chain, but it's gonna be damn tight. I believe Doherty makes a complete kit for it.
You can also fit a 180 in there if you use a 20mm belt. Thats what I did after I saw another member do it since I didnt wanna bother with the hassle of a chain.

i think the problem will be rear fender wont be wide enough,a deuce fender will take a 200 but not a softail, buy woffmans rear fender,or his complete set up! save you having to change to chain with the narrower belt and pulley!

My 99 fxstc is in the shop right now getting my new chrome duece wheel installed. The rear fender needed modified to fit the 160/17 Dunlop !! plus the wiring to the lights in the back needed re-routing to make room. There's no way to put a bigger tire than the 160 without going to a different fender. Just my 2 cents.
