I just ordered these Roland Sands King Apes in Black 16 inchers. The width is 36.5". The 16" rise is at the highest point at the top of the bars. I will be using 2" risers that came off my buddy's Street Bob. Anyone know what length of cables I need? If you have something similar and know what size cables you used let me know. Thanks in advance.

I just checked with Drag Specialties, ,the only distributor for RSD, they are on back order until 4/22.

 

Well that sucks because Black Hawk Customs got my money today. So unless they have them in stock there, I guess I won't be seeing them for a while. You guys just really busted my bubble.

 

Phat Performance is a distributor for RSD and has the bars in stock.

 

Didn't mean to burst your bubble. Maybe there is a way to get them another way, but according to Drag who is THE only distributor for RSD, 4/22. If you call RSD and ask to buy direct, they laugh and tell you it has to be bought through Drag Specialties. I have even offered to drive to their shop and pick them up. Still a no go. If there is a way to get them sooner I guess I better figure out how so I can help you forum guys out.

 

Black Hawk customs gets them from Drag. I just hope they already have them at their store and hope they don't just have then shipped from the destributor. I mean dang, they let me oder them. I also called RSD today to get information on the bars. They did not mention anything about them being back ordered. Now I don't know what to think. I guess I will just call Black Hawk customs tomorrow and ask them if they are in stock.

 

One thing I will say about RSD, is that when you call them and ask questions, the guys from P.M. answer and they are absolutely clueless.
