No one will be able to get them before then. Did they tell you they were in stock? Personally, I prefer to use a company that is upfront and let's me know when they will be in, but I can't make a decision for you. I always love it when the truth comes out.

I just placed the order on-line assuming they were in stock. I didn't talk to anyone. Now I'm thinking of canceling the order and buying Flander's 1 1/4" drag bars with shorter risers or the NYC Choppers 17" apes in black but that may be too tall. Now I'm indecisive all over again.

Cryan,

I don't mean to hijack your thread but have you checked www.toddscycle.com? His bars are EXACTLY like the ones you first mentioned you liked. Todd used to work with Roland Sands at PM. I have his bars on my bike and the quality is second to none.

Are you talking about the Strip Apes? I don't like the big downward bend in them. I don't like the downward bend in the older RSD bars either. I like these new ones. They are a little flatter up top.

Chubby Strip Bars w/ Gussets. Look pretty close to me. If anything call Todd, he's real cool and down to earth. Compare the specs.

**If not, a lot of guys here had BR Customs build their bars. I've heard nothing but good things about that guy.**

Good luck man.

I might just do that. I was thinking leave the gussets chrome and paint the bars flat black. The black come in gloss anyway and I would prefer them in flat black. What do y'all think?

I also like the dimensions of these. RISE: 16" rise, WIDTH: 34.88", CENTER WIDTH: 7.5", PULLBACK: 7.68", END RISE: 14.32". I could paint these too. Only $130. They are Khrome Werks 1 1/4" fat apes.

I think I may suck it up and wait on the RSD King Apes. I keep goin back to em. Love the Carlinis but hate the fact the base is wider than the triple tree.

Cryan9 if your gonna rattle can em or PC em may wanna look into a set of Carlini Bars with a blem. Site says they blem bars with imprefect chrome so that be perfect for ya, and they like 100$ cheaper I think.
