cables for apes on train
This winter i think i want to put 12 or 14 inch apes on my 08 night train. I know if i do it i would get the carlini 12 inch chino bars or the 14inch gangster bars both in black. My question is does anyone know what length cables i will need for 12 or 14 inch apes? Where is the cheapest place to get them from?

Sounds like your bike will look really good once everything is completed. In regards to pricing and size. My suggestion is to contact Carlini directly and ask them about the new cable length and also for parts check out the DRAG book.

yea most places want you to get the bars first then measure what lenght you will need i went through this already.. there was an ad on ebay not sure if i can find the link but they had a deal where you could buy any size apes and get breaded cables for like 225.

I bought my apes from the ebay folks and they provided me with everything I needed; cables, brake lines, wire harnesses. They are out of texas (not that that matters). Can't remember their name now, but do a search for apes on ebay and you should find them. You may not want their bars but I'm sure they could set you up with everything else.
