Default Dragonfly Fairing Installed on Deluxe

This is my 2006 Deluxe (Dragonfly green on Vivid Black) with the fairing from Dragonfly Concepts installed.

The installation went exactly according to the instructions provided with a slight modification to the top spacers. Electrical install was a snap. This is their standard stereo system with their custom head unit matched with the JBL (Black Box) unit and 6X9 speakers. It seems user friendly. Color match is very good and the wind control over a windscreen is a dramatic improvement. I had lowers mounted before the fairing and they will require a slight mod to install... if I decide to do so with the fairing. Coolest thing ever is that to remove all I have to do is unplug the harness connector, the aux. USB connector, loosen two screws and lift it off. It takes maybe 2 minutes and I am catching the breeze.

Laydown liscense bracket should be here this week. Engine mod as soon as the weather allows me the courage to ride to my brothers place.

Joe, very sharp. Your vision is coming together. I know it's more coin but the backrest has to go, either a new seat or the Heritage lumbar rest and you are there. The new pipes will make this combo exceptionally striking.

I can not disagree about the backrest. I would love to change it out for the Springer Rail and Pad. Maybe someone on here can point me in an affordable direction.

Completed the engine build. It is a mild 95" at 100Hp/100Tq. Very nice ride with early and flat torque. I increased compression slightly and with it came 4 to 7 degrees higher temps... not a big deal, but I think I may add a small cooler. What do you guys recommend?

Came color matched from Dragonfly Concepts. The match is very... very good. Looks OE. I am not sure about the durability as it is on its first year. I like it.

I have the Supertrapp Internal Disc 2 into 1 fishtail exhaust. Performance is not like some of the Supertrapps but I like the pipe and it is just more than stock in sound volume. I really enjoy the tunes.

Sweet looking. I put the dragonfly fairing on my road king classic and just loved it. Enjoy.
