Been considering the very same solution to the same problem. Here's what I've found:

I'd email them before i got to excited.
I sent them an email about redoing the factory sprung seat thining it down etc and they said no.
If they will do it that would be a good option.

We're talking about the passenger pillion. The spring seat, at least on my bike, is fine as-is.

stock fatboy passenger seat from 200mm tire.. the wife says its the best one we have had on there

This is where I'm at..

Any one seated a Phantom Pad on a Crossbones? I am curious about the ride and look w/ the stock springer seat.
