Guards are going to come off tonight as soon as I get home.

I wont get the bag this month but I didn't want to pull the guards if I had to put them back on when I got the bag.

Is there any additional risk with having the guards removed?

 

I guess it could pop you in the *** if it broke, but I doubt it. To me it takes the stock look out of the lo and I'm not too concerned about not having one. Oh! and some guys grind off the tabs that are left after removal, I choose not too since the bag covers them up anyways. Good luck bro!

 

I just noticed the art on the primary cover... is that anime?

 

The guy that carved it for me is from Hawaii and anime is Japanese. So my guess in no, but it is animated. Here is a better picture.
