The 07 Fatboy front fender has a graphic on it, starts wide at the front of the fender and comes to a point at the forks. Again, not to my liking but I will learn to like it.

I asked if I could get the bike without the graphics and was told "no" I highly doubt the "factory change" will be the graphics.

 

Check out my graphics, they were an special edition in '99. Three models were produced with this paint tone (diamond ice) not available for any softail that year, 700 bikes were sent to Germany only a few remained in America. "Silver edition" logo specially designed for the softails anniversary. Fat boy / Softail Std and Heritage Softail models.

Before I give my opinion I want you to know my day job is a creative director and my aesthetic opinion is what I get paid for, also I own a '06 FB. So with that in mind here is my .02 cents. The tank graphic is basic and is not representional of a FatBoy. The new tank graphic does not have that look of heritage. The bold swoosh mark on the tank had a dated 80's look to it. It's not for me.

 

Headshot mentioned that HD will be making some changes on the FB. Possibly for the 07's due to the poor responses to the graphics or something else. In any case if they decide to do away with the fugly graphics you can bet every penny that I have that they will be replacing my tins.
