Don't want this to sound wrong, but i see one every time I go in my garage haha. They've essentially blacked out the Fatboy Lo and put a 110B in it.. So if you've ever seen a FatBoy Lo and said "damn that's a fine bike".. i'm sure you'll like the FatBoy S.
I'm building my 96 to an S&S 103 or 107 this fall. The "S" is nice but the 110 is anemic. I couldn't believe the low H.P. and torque numbers.
Have to agree, have rode a couple of CVO's with the 110 and it feels very sluggish, With what Fuel Moto is doing with their 107 builds it seems like a lot more bang for the buck.
What appeals to me about this one is that I've owned over a half dozen Fat Boys from 1991 on, I've ripped each and everyone one of them apart and have built some pretty nice bikes, but for some reason I've always dreamed of owning a 100% stock Fat Boy and leaving it alone and this one (besides a tuner) I may just be able to contain myself.....Dream on Baby, dream on.....
And as you can see by my sig, I'm familiar with both engines. These days, factory fresh goes a long way.........I'm getting tired of dumping thousands into things (bikes, cars, trucks) to make it what I want.....But, thats for another topic...
I traded in a brand new Freewheeler today for a '15 SGS and a '16 S, the Fat Boy ships on September 9th........
i have 2010 fatboy lo my bike is stock except the black rush slip on mufflers the bike looks preety cool stock. i see on the 2016 fatboys they are using the same timing on my 2010 fatboy lo harley is something else
Test drove one on Saturday at a Harley test drive day. Great looking bike, except a little too heavy looking on the back end with heavy fender, and passenger seat installed.
I certainly wouldn't call the engine sluggish. I own two very fast sport bikes, and the fat boy felt pretty torquey for what it is.
I will say I thought the Slim S was a much nicer bike, and want one real bad!
