Default New Rocker gas tank, bike won't start???

Howdy,

I got inspired by all you rocker owners so I got me one too. I got it painted, had the stealer swap the gas tank guts over to the new tank to make sure i didn't screw anything up. The tank is back on the bike now with some gas in it, but the bike won't fire. Any suggestions???

The tank looks like this

Does the fuel pump prime? Plug wires attached? on/off switch on on? Is the fuel line hooked up to the tank?

I can hear the fuel pump buzz when I turn the ignition on. The switch in on. The starter doesn't engage if it isn't. Fuel line is connected. So no special priming is required I assume? I did install a 2 inch lift kit but I can't see how that would be the problem. I have 2 gallons of gas in the tank right now so that should be plenty.

You didnt happen to unhook the wires from the injectors sometime while the tank was off did you?

Painted by Pairadice Paint in Pittsburgh. They were great! I live in Canada so there was lots of shipping involved. The price was good too. This stuff doesn't come cheap but they were more reasonable than everyone else I got a quote from.

I don't think i unhooked the injectors. Are the injectors connect under the tank somewhere? This is driving me nuts. It's a 3 week waiting list now to get in to the stealer.

If the pump buzzes then the wires are hooked up, I would run the pump by turning it on a few times and then pull the fuel line off the injector rail and use a rag as if it is pumping then it will spray gas. if there is fuel pressure it should go if not ck to see if you have spark. It could be an air pocket in the fuel line. This where I would start looking as if all you took off was the tin
