Default Fixing blinkers

I was asked to see if i can fix the blinkers. Have the manual for the bike and i was starting with trying to take the tank off because there should be a module under there right? There is the odometer **** that should turn off but it just continues to rotate. Its not coming off.

anyone help me figure out how to get this off so i can see under it where the blinker module should be.

maybe take the console off and hold the back side of the switch while you turn the button i may be confused as mine is an 07 but i thought the turn signal module was in front of the back tire behind the splash gaurd

thats the thing is this **** needs to be taken off before i can take the console off. But the **** just turns and doesnt unscrew.

Ill look where your blinker module is. I was just told it was under the gas tank.

It not under the gas tank on a 05, its in front of the rear tire flap.

What are your T / S doing ? I have had my T/s continue to flash fast and not cancel a couple of times. One time it was a bad ground at he battery to fram (small dia wires) and the other time a few weeks ago it was a bad bulb (was still working but dimmer than the rest) when I replaced it all is good. Start with the easy stuff, try replacing the bulbs 1 at a time first ,
