Not to jack your thread, but I got my Road King Custom hard bags installed last night. I think they really fit the Fat Boy well as far as styling goes.

I just noticed yours. My original lightbar no longer clears the hardbags and was thinking about the shorter light bar, I did a measurement and it seems like a real tight fit. Is that what you have? or what are you using?
Its a mixture of parts. tombstone taillight, wrap around lic plate, kury light bar. (I replaced the led enclosures that came with the bar with larger ones that would fill the gap better, also added smoke lenses.) this pic shows it before i finished the carriage bolt.

Can't see the pictures.... am putting hard bags on my 03 Heritage; I have the Vance & Hines long shots on the rights side of the bike, is that going to be a problem for me? Anyone know?
