Hey, what is the main differences between the Deluxe softail and the Heritage classic, I keep mistaking a Deluxe for a Heritage and found I can't even tell them apart from far away..
What about seat height, and ride height etc
Thanks!

First off they have different paint schemes and badging. The Heritage comes with bags and a windshield stock as well. the deluxe comes lowered one inch and also has different floorboards along with a tombstone tail light. Also the Heritage has a different seat. The deluxe also comes with a rack behind the passenger seat.
The deluxe has narrow turn signals in the rear that don't stick out far from the fender like the heritage
Different tail light
The Deluxe doest have Bags or windshield
The Deluxe Engine in not rubber mounted. It has a B motor which means it is rigid mounted and Balenced and Blueprinted! This is what makes the seat sit lower for an easier to ride bike for the ladies.
This is pretty much all I can think of right now. We just bought a 2009 Deluxe for my wife. She was riding my Fatboy and now we traded the fatboy in and got her a custom Deluxe.
I have a 2008 Deluxe and couldn't be happier. It fits everyone with a short inseam and handles like a dream. Put 840 miles on this weekend and had tons of compliments at the Hell's Canyon Rally. Don't let the "it's a girls bike" comments disuade you from getting a Deluxe. It's a great ride and if the bike fits, ride it.

All Softails run the B engine. Deluxe and Heritage have the same engine. The B stands for balanced not blue printed.
The Deluxe does sit lower but the Heritage can be lowered.
Don't forget about those damm UGLY STUDS(IMO of course) that a heritage has. Also Deluxe stock comes with whitewalls tires/different bars/risers/pipes/kickstand/solid headlight backplate.
