Default X bones exhaust

I just bought a X Bones for the wife and I am thinking about replacing the mufflers or doing a full exhaust. The pipes that came on it are chrome. I would just like some opinions from fellow Bones owners. What pipes fit the looks of the X Bones the best. I am thinking Vance and Hines but dont know what configuration to get (short, straight, Long or big) Shots. Would you stay with chrome or go with black. The bike is dark blue. Thanks in advance.

I went with wrapped chrome. I think on the blue crossbones, the black exhausts would look good

Black on a Cross Bones for sure. Vance and Hines true duals with fishtails would look good. Big shot longs would look good as well. it really all depends on your tastes. I'd love to design how your wife's bike is going to look, but I am not sure she would like what I do.

Thanks guys. I was thinking black would look good. I just wondered if the long/short would fit the style of the bike better.

My vote is for the long ones.

If it wasn't so expensive to buy them here, that's what I would have.

Long for sure. Be aware the big shot longs might drag in corners since the bones is 1" lowered from the factory. That wouldn't put me off, but it's something to think about.

After looking at the pic of the bike, I agree with drew, some dual fishtails in black would be ****!!!

I have black V&H Shorties on mine. Love'em. However, anything black would look good on a 'Bones.

I think short black wrapped would look good. I'd like to see Ratsters pipes.
