Default Brake Pads?

I am in the market for front and rear brakes on my 05 Deuce. I have noticed mine have excessive break dust lately, I assume they are the original because my Deuce has about 8K on it. My first time putting on brakes on a Harley. So I have a few questions:
What brakes are good? (EBC, Drag Lite Specialties, Harley Davidsion, etc)
Where is the best place to order? (JP Cycles, Dennis Kirk, and other good Harley catalogs I am forgetting?)
Obviously, I want to be safe, but I want minimal brake dust. I have good luck with ceramic on my cars, but I have not tried the Kevlar I have seen for the bike pads.

Any input would be great.

Lyndall Gold are the best. They are dustless. Order from us of course.

Well, the BEST brake pads ive ever seen are the Lyndall Racing Brake (LRB) pads. The price reflects the quality though as the "gold" pads are $58.95 a set and the "Z plus" are $48.95 a set.

With that being said the EBC's are my second choice always. They are a good quality pad that runs around $33.00 a set.

Available through Tucker Rocky/Bikers Choice, Drag Specialties, etc

I don't think the Lyndals are worth the money they ask for them.I got 30,000 from my stock pads on the rear, the fronts had more left at 30,000 but changed them because the rotors were warped and had to change them.I have Lyndal gold on the back and EBC on the front,I am not impressed with either.

REALLY?? I have switched from stock pads to Lyndalls and it was a very noticeable difference in stopping power between the two. Also no brake dust from the lyndalls. For one you have 65% of your braking power on the front brakes so maybe if you had the lyndalls on the front you would have a different opinion... Just a thought

I have read all the stuff about the lyndalls pads an bought the gold+ pads for the rear of my night train. They have the same amount of dust as my stock harley pads, stop no better than my stock pads. I have run them for 5000 miles now, I wanted dustless , like they talk about. Next set will be a different brand.

I have a question. Did you "bed" the pads in before you just took off and started using them? They have a specific "bedding in" procedure so that you get the most stopping power out of the pad.

Default brakes

This is what I have read about the Lyndall's. Some people love them while others say they are not worth the money. Anyone have Kevlar brake pads?
