Lyndall Z+ pads with Harley floating rotors. You'll be amazed at how well your bike stops.

yeah what he said I just changed out my rear rotor for a ebc floating rotor and Z pads. Always disliked the rear brakes on my bike. Put these on and wow great rear brakes now went with the Z pads as they are the easiest on the rotor.

What is the proper "bedding" in procedure? I have a set of Lyndall pads that I am going to be putting in soon.

Read the Lyndall z+ kevlar carbon were the most rotor friendly. I may give them a try when the time comes for new brakes.

I change rear pads everytime I change the tire(no charge install). Stock works fine.

I read all the forum praise about the Lyndalls and tried a set on my FXDXT.
Same dust & braking power as stock, as I expected...

I think at the end of the day,
brake feel & power is much more dependent on caliper/master/rotor construction,
presence of stainless braided lines, and/or master cyl ratios.

...and Harley's OEM stuff floats at the 'barely acceptable' level LOL

There ain't no miraculous pad material for our HD cruisers other than
the available usual stuff (soft Kevlar/organics,, sintered metals).

I can't imagine how Lyndall's is something so different and special?
I'm baffled by how all these people state claims of "much improved" power & feel...

Bottom line, my Cross Bones needs a Brembo billet GP racing brake system with carbon composite pads HA HAAA

I have the Lyndall Z+ pads and am real happy with them , no brake dust and stop better also . Also guaranteed to not squeal , can't stand noisey brakes ! A few 1000 miles and not even a hint of a squeak .

Got them off of EBay for about the same or less than the HD OEM ones , also current stock - not old stock thats been sitting in some back room . Sorry , but don't remember who the Seller was ?

If you haven't used them yet, how can you know how good they are?

Sorry, just had to ask.
