Default trade in?

so i took the fatboy in for her 5,000 mile service, and while i was there, i decided to see what i would get on a trade for a new 2010 streetglide, and he first said 16,000, i bocked and he immediatly went up to 17,000. i have just an '09 fatboy, with state 1, and different bars, screaming eagle super tuner, and the service package, im thinking its a decent deal? what do u guys think?

I think you better jump all over that deal. the 2009 Fatboy's MSRP is $15,999 and we all know add ons are virually worthless on trade-in. plus, next month your bike will be 2 years old.

so, the dealer is gonna give you $1000 more than MSRP for a 2 yr old bike? and you want to know if it's a good deal?

UNLESS, he adds to the MSRP of the Streetglide.

Lucky you... I say go for it. But remember once she's gone... she's gone.

Don't know if waiting will help b/c this is why they're offering the deal (11's coming in). Might not get another chance so if you're serious it's probably time to start signing...someone else will come along & steal the deal.

If I saw that bike in the classifieds for $17K, I'd laugh and move on. That's a smokin deal if ya ask me.

Is he still selling the glide for MSRP? An old trick is to jack up the trade-in value and then find a way to jack up the cost of the new vehicle to match...
