Front Wheel Removal - Fat Boy
Getting ready to remove the front wheel off my 95 FB to go get a new tire put on. I ran over a friggin screw. Are there any "gotchas" or anything special I need to watch out for?
Thx in advance

Thanks man. I am in Kingsport. I am a serious bike rookie but ain't scared. Don't have bike jack, nor torque wrench. Juts a flat. lol
Thanks for your reply. Guess I need to find me a torque wrench.
BTW your bike is gorgeous. I need some of those handlebars!

The tire and wheel are heavier than you think. Keep the jack low until you get the axle out or your bike might do a back flip off the jack. Make sure to coat the axle with anti-sieze when you put it back together.
clean the axial and coat with anti seise. be sure the bearings are good and be sure there is no slack or too snug of the center spacer between the bearings, remove the brake caliper first, mark the spacers left and right, oh and be sure to strap down the bike as it will tip to the rear when the tire is removed.
