Default Wheel removal

I am taking off my wheels on my 03 Road glide on my own for the first time. Is there any tricks or odd things I might need to know or is it pretty straight forward. Any clues would be helpful.

Clearly mark the spacers for right and left as you disassemble.

On the rear wheel when reinstalling use the jack to lower the bike to the proper height on the wheel, rather than trying to lift the wheel to axle height. It's almost impossible to hang onto the spacers while lifting the wheel.

If possible have someone assist you. An extra set of hands always helps. Torque your axle nut with bike on the ground.

With the wheel removed don't squeeze the brakes - you'll unseat the pistons. Use a torque wrench.

Take your time...mark stuff, take your time, take pictures, Have fun while doing it...if you get frustrated leave everything for a while and take a break.

I leapt in here expecting to contribute, but find some excellent suggestions! Can't add anything, except let us know when you are successful.
