Has anybody converted a carb bike to fuel injection ?

Just better starting.
It just doesn't like to start-up cold or hot.
It had the idle set at 950 rpm, and I just raised it to 1050 rpm, hoping that will help ?
My last bike trip, which was two lane roads without any highway riding, avaraging around 50 mph, I got 44 mpg with it, and it has all kinds of engine work done to it [cams, 41mm carb. etc.] so that isn't too bad.
I just hate the way it starts or doesn't start-up.

maybe the starting issue ain't got nothing to do with the carb??...don't undestand motor works but a change in compression may cause problems with startup...wish i could have better info, maybe others can help?
mine idles in that range (960-1050) and it just doesn't have the sound i've herd from carbed harleys
