5 minute ride
The bike starts fine, idles fine after starting, then goes down the road with no hesitation, burp/cough etc. Give it around 4-5 minutes of riding, then come to a stop to idle, and the motor idles down, then quits. Re-starting involves repeated cranking, twisting throttle, then you have to either pull the choke out completely, or continually rev the motor or else it will quit again.
Drained tank, added new fuel, added dry gas, added carb cleaner additive to the fuel, cleaned out carb with carb cleaner, re-attached, and tried again, same result. Lines to carb, vaccum etc are not torn, or ripped, bike has 3800k on it so the rubber/plastic isn't even degrading or dried out yet.
I'm at a total loss now, looking for answers now. Any ideas, or things I missed? Don't say get a EFI bike, I've already though of it but that just get's rid of my problem, I'd love to find out why my bike is doing this.

Maybe the crank position sensor going bad, your stated problems seem to indicate that could be the likely culprit.

Ok, I'm going to check the petcock when I get out of work.
As for the CPS, I didden't think the 06 had any sensors on it? Least nothing that elaborate?
Sick1200, I did leave the cover off on a previous test and the accelerator pump squirts fuel. The vent cap is another option I can look at.
As for the sensor, that seems the most likely culprit, my gut tells me that the sensor (if it has one) could be the culprit. I only say this cause my last car had the same issue, only after it got warmed up.
Thanks for more insight, I'll give it another look tonight.
