Just screwing around Ebay looking for more parts for my ride and stumbled on this. If you wanted dual fishtails from V&Hs, now you can preorder them:

There is nothing yet on V&H website. I emailed them for info and release date. Maybe the V&H pipes will have longer heat shields. Looks like V&H fishtails you can change the baffels. The new samsons fishtails has non removable baffels.

I just noticed on the ebay ad they won't be available til 12/06.

 

After seeing dual fishtails, I am really thinking on taking off my longshots and going with duals...don't see duals on FLSTCs that often and I like the look

I went with the HD accessory mufflers for the Springer Classic on my '05 Deluxe (with Sharkfin endcaps). While the look is exactly what I wanted...the sound is still lacking. The sound went from a sewing machine (stock pipes) to an angry sewing machine (new pipes).

I've always envied other softails with V&H pipes for their quintessential Harley exhaust note, but don't care for what has been available (in terms of looks). (Also, I don't care for Samson - which do also make true-duals...)

Now, maybe those who want that old school look can have it all! Hope these pipes live up to the V&H sound!
