i heard a similar thing.. Python is to V&H as Lincoln is to Ford.. nothing wrong with Python exhausts. At least I don't see any negative reviews online.. I did read something that V&H pipes produce a deeper sound than the Pythons though, if that matters to you or not.

I ran a set on a couple different bikes. They are on the loud side of loud and make decent power for a 2into 2. Chrome was good and didn't blue easy.Blue b gone cleaned them up like new when it needed a good cleaning.
The Python pipes are the same as the V & H BSS. These pipes are made by V & H for Drag Specialties. Very little difference in the sound and the slash cut tips can't be changed, part of the heat shield. Oh, they are a hundred and something dollars cheaper.

I had a set of the Python staggered duals on my bike. VERY loud. I constantly got comments from others who were surprised at how loud those pipes are. Honestly they were louder than I could stand. I recently changed to Cobra Speedsters which are not nearly as loud.

I didn't have a set of those,but I had the 2 into 1 and venom that is the same as the big radius. both good quality. An email to V&H about baffles confirmed they make the python brand. As stated above very loud esp after hc pistons and cams.

I've had mine for three years and completely satisfied. They are a little loud, but a couple of years ago I did install the V&H quite baffles and those toned it down a little. I'm playing around with the QQ Big City Thunder baffles now for a different sound.
