Default 2 into 1 Exhaust

Just put a 2 into 1 exhaust on my 2008 Fxstc and it sounds great, just wondering if it is ok to ride because I never upgraded the air box or have a fuel managment yet?

Don't know about everyone else but I have done the same (pipe but no other add ons) and my bike is running fine. Opps sorry I have added the night rider o2 add on. It was running hot long before I got the pipe and the night rider plug in was a good fix.

You will be fine. You need to start worrying about fuel management when you go with the High flow air cleaners. You have a cooler sounded exhaust but you aren't putting any more air into the motor. Ride away you will be fine.

I'm running a Thundermax Auto Tune and love it but they are about 800 bucks. But the custom map I created gets me great power and 42 mpg. There are a lot of systems out there do a search and you can find lots of options. Make sure what ever you get either you or someone close can tune it. Nothing worse than a good system and lousy tuner you will regret the day you spent the money.

I had the dealer do a "dyno tune" on my bike with the Thundermax and dropped almost 10 ft lbs of torque and mileage dropped to 29 mpg. Got a different map and made some changes based on what I was able to read and people I talked to and now it's like a brand new bike.
