Stand up 2 cancer
STANDUP2CANCER.ORG
Lets help fight this, it's taken too many of our friends and families.
I just know each and everyone of us has been effected by Cancer in one way or another.
My dad has both Stage 4 Prostate Cancer, and Bone Cancer, and now has AML Leukemia.
He just turned 70 last Dec. 7th 2009.
Everyday, 36 kids are told they have Cancer.
Every minute in America, somebody dies from Cancer.
We need to stand-up to Cancer and beat this.
We are losing too many people.
One in Eight women are told that they have Breast Cancer.
Every minute somebody dies of Cancer.
Just think about that for a minute.
Somebody just died.
That's a lot of people.
Bobby.

Thank-you guys.
My Dad was told back in 2000 that he had Stage 4 Prostate and Bone Cancer, and that he would only have a year to live. He had no treatments other than a women's hormone shot every six months, and last Sept. 21st 2009 he was told that he has AML Leukemia, with only one to two months to live. He has only been getting 2-3 pints of new blood and a bag of platelets every week for treatment. Four weeks ago, he started taking Vidaza for chemo treatments, but they have stopped it last week, as his leukemia is getting worse faster than the chemo can help him. His doctor is Dr. Marcia Browne out of Mass General Hospital out of Boston, she comes up to Southern NH in Nashua, NH to Foundation Medical Partners which is part of Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua NH.
We take it day to day, and it's not easy, let me tell you.
I took my Dad in to live with me 4 years ago in my one bedroom condo. I gave him my bedroom while I sleep on the living room recliner. I bring my Dad to all his doctor appointments, which is just about everyday. I make his meals, do his laundry, and do his medications. I live alone with him and have no help from any other family members. I don't ask for help, but will take any that is offered, which is none so far. It's not easy, but I do the best I can.
