I got mine so they can drop it for all I care, if people chose a different model that's on them.

 

i know one thing, its not often you see them on the road. i just love the springers, so if they do drop it, i hope they continue the springer front on a new model

 

Totally agree I have mine. The deluxe was dropped in the UK and has now back on sale again it was one of the most sort after Harleys in the UK during it's absence

 

Haven't heard it, but I'll tell you what happened when I bought mine. October 14th, went in, wanted a 2011 Crossbones. He took a look around the inventory.

Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut dealers had none in stock and wouldn't be getting more until January/February. He found two 2010's left though, said he'd hold the flat black one for me until I made up my mind. Called him a few days after and said go with it, was glad I called, one was gone and he'd gotten 4 calls about the one he put on hold for me. Bought her and rode her out lol.

And I can see why everyone likes them after I brought it to the gas station to fill up for the first time. Filled up, went inside to grab a soda, came out and there was about 6 or 7 people standing around my bike. I started to worry. Tell me I forgot to put the kickstand down or something lol. Nope, everyone was just around it looking at it.

Some didn't believe me when I said 2010, other swore up and down it was an aftermarket seat. Everyone liked it though lol.

I wish I could get my hands on the sales records, see how it's doing against the other models and the like. I have mine already, but still wouldn't want them to pull it and deny others the joy of it should they want one. Feel it's one of the truly unique Harley's on the new market right now.

 

I had a dream last night that I bought one. I hadn't been planning on it but ya never know.

 

People around my parts can't get enough of my bike either. Everywhere I go, people stop and look at it, and yell at me asking what it is. :-)

 

So true...the bones gets attention everywhere. Non biker people are drawn to it.

I don't see HD killing it yet. I never see any on the showroom floor. Even better...there isn't a lot on the road.

We are barely into the 2011 model year so that rumor is complete bullshit. Harley keeps better secrets than the military. The only way you will know what is going on is when the third week of July rolls around and Harley announces it to the public. Every year I hear how Harley is going to quit making Fugly and every year they keep making new ones. I finally bought one and it is the ****!

 

I'm hoping it was B.S.. Can't get one right now but that's the bike I want. I think the salesman had 2 left and was trying to get rid of them. Supposedly the guy was in there 6 or 7 times and he's just pushing the dude, who knows, like my man said, we'll find out in July... or next July.
