Was thinking about black powder coating the lower forks on my heritage.

Does anyone have a pic of a FLST w/ the lowers black already so I can get an idea of what it looks like before I waste my time?

 

This may help alittle, since heritages and deluxes are similar. I just put new fork tubes and fork cover, front and back, and Cow bells. Only thing thats chrome on the front is passing lamps, light bar, and head light, and turn lights. Sorry for the bad pic, best I could do till the cams are installed. IMHO, I think it would look sick, When I got them installed on mine, I was throughly pleased, I think it looks good, especially when I put on my black spokes. Hope this helps Bro.

Yup...+1 on the Photoshop and you'll have a really good idea of what it'll look like for ya. It's what I did before I powder coated my lowers. I go sick of the pitting, plus I like the black contrast to the chrome uppers. Here's my 09 Fatty.

 

I think it would look killer. I would love to black mine out.
