Default Front Wheel Bearings

Took my front caliper off today and spun my front wheel and WOW what a wierd noise. Sounded like a siren was hook up to my wheel. I'm thinking my bearings were bad. I can't believe my service manual doesn't list a part
number for it. Should there be any noise when I spin the wheel? I wouldn't think so. Do I need the special tool in the book to remove and replace the
bearings or should I take the wheel in to have it done? What do you guys use or do you have the stealer do it?

I recently replaced mine. I tried pulling them with my cheap bearing puller and no luck. So I took the wheel to the stealer and had them pull and replace them.

When I remove the brake disk and hub cap to replace the bearings do I need to have the wheel rebalanced after it is all reassembled?

No need to re-balance the wheel.

I would take the wheel in and let them put the bearings in and set the preload. Seen to many do it yourselfers mess up the preload and wonder why the bearings keep burning up. Just my .02
