Default Better Deuce?

I'm looking at buying an 06 Deuce 88 or a 03 CVO Deuce 95. They are close in price and both injected. Can anyone tell me about the 88 vs 95 motor or anything else which I should be concerned about when looking at the older 03?
Thanks!

I was in the same boat as you in Oct. I went for a 07 Deuce because of the 96ci and 6 speed. I bought it in Northern Virgina. Paid $11,500 for it with 2,600miles, SERT, pipes, and some extras.

Thinking the CVO will hold its price a lot better in the future..
Has the cvo motor had anything done to it.?
Don't know much about the 95, the 110's still needs work done to them to make them better. cams, pistons and head work always brings out the TQ.

Just do a search on CVO's and read up... theirs several forums just for them....

Thanks for the replies.
I'm not too worried about the HP & the TQ. I am more concerned with motor trans issues/probs. I do like the thicker bars, nicer wheels and the tach on the cvo, but I did not know if there were any electronic injection issues on the older bike? I supose the older '03 95" is close in proformance to the '06 88"? Both bike are 100% stock

performance would be better on cvo! thats why i asked what cams?? i have andrews 37, the cvo will have some screaming eagle cams, that engine would have around 20 more horespower over the 06 88" i would of thought!

Go with the CVO, you get more bang for the buck

I agree with most of the guys here, the CVO would be my choice unless it had a ridiculous amount of miles on it. the 100th anniv. CVO will definatley retain more value and haul way more ***.
