Im gonna try it, i think if it does need to be trimmed, a fine wheel on a grinder should take care of it and not chinga the chrome up.

 

DrawDown go for it. Don't forget the make some pics during the process. For starters I'm very interested which problems you would run in to. This one mod that I wanna do to and I also don't wanna cover the Carlini Risers.

 

Did it work? Pics? I have a Deluxe with Carlini Flyin Apes (16) and High Roller Risers and was looking at adding the Nacelle down the road.

 

My Nacelle's cup had to be grinded (dremmel), the chrome didn't chip or cracked. The reason I had to do this was the increased diameter on the bars and not the height of the HD 1.25" diameter risers.

Im thinking of going with carlini 1 1/4 apes on my deluxe. Right now I have stepped 1 1/4 wildones beach bars and everything fits fine. Do you think if I get the carlini 1 1/4 stepped apes they will fit without grinding? I,m using the stock HD 1" risers.

 

I have the Carlini 1 1/4 non stepped apes.I did not have to grind the cover or the Nacelle .Everything thing fit fine.
