I have Carlini High Roller risers (2") under my Gangster Apes and would really like to add a headlight nacelle as my next mod. I see they "require" Heritage or Fatboy risers and have that cover that gives some fits. I know how Harleys "required" is lol. Will my risers work with the nacelle? And if I didnt run that cover, is there anything under it that would look incomplete? Definitely not going to change my risers. Thanks for the help.
Bro we must be on the same wave length or something.I remember seeing that Drew said it would take some trimming. But I am not sure if that was a harley part or if he even got the right one for his bike.I will be the test dummy as I just ordered one on Tues.I know the riser cover will not work. But Cycle visions makes a cover that completes the look. There is a member on here(I forgot his name). He has a Luxe with gangsters and Carlini Diamond risers and it looks ****.How much different could the high roller risers be.He also has that cycle visions cover.
That'll work bro, post up when you get it on and what you had to jack with to make it work. I think itll look **** if we get it on without choppin it too much. You get those boards on? They look sick!
I got the Boards .I have not even opened them up yet they are sitting on my work bench. We are up to our a$$ in snow here in NY.So it will be a while before I get anything done.I need a heater for my garage its COLD as a ***** in there. Santo did a headlight nacelle thread. In that thread you can see pics of the nacelle and cover piece with Gangsters and the other Carlini Risers. His screen name is Calin.I would attach a link but not sure how to do that.
You need to grind off a bit of the nacelle around the risers. I ruled it as not worth it in my book once I actually had the nacelle in hand. The nacelle is chromed and I think grinding off the necessary area would really mess up the chrome and just look funny. Find something else to do next instead is my advice.
