I have a 09 bones with a stage one air kit that the dealer installed when I bought my v&h pipes. I want a new air cleaner cover, but every after market part I see says not for the crossbones.

I have looked at harley part 28728-10 I know this is just a rain sock, but it say it allows you to add other air cleaner parts, but doesn't tell you which ones. I'm open to ether option.

If it has a stage 1 A/C, you can just pull the black cover off and run any of the HD Air Cleaner inserts right on the filter or any cover designed for the Big Sucker

 

Is the AR big sucker the same as the SE stage one because I have the SC and cant find any option besides the stock black cover.

Sorry new to Harley ownership came from a victory where there was really no customization options

 

I put the rain sock on over Christmas, you can then add one of the H-D air cleaner trims to make it look better. I really like the look, and much cheaper than many alternatives.

 

where can I find the air cleaner trim I like the idea of putting the sock on all I see on the HD website is air cleaner medallions and billet covers. All the ones on ebay say except ftlsb if if I take the stock cover off will all the twin cam covers fit?

 

Yes, if you take off the stock cover, the A/C insert will bolt right to your filter, like this one that I had on my Road King

 

thanks for the pic when I search for parts under crossbones none of the trims show up, but when i switched to deluxe I see the trim. I'm assuming once you pull the old cover all trims will bolt to the crossbones
