I want to do this to my 2007 deluxe along with a few other mods I stuck my hand up the rear fender and felt 3 bolts 1 at the bottom of the tail light and 2 for the turn signals are these the 3 that have to be removed or did I not find the all

Guys, Thanks for the tips on plate lighting. I think this mod is one of the most complimentary for the Deluxe. Looks great!

No, don't need to take the turn signals off.

There are actually 4 you have to take off :

1. a single bolt holding on a plastic cover
2. at the bottom of the the taillight
3/4 are at the right and left top side of the tail light

Picture the three little screws holding in the Tomstone lens. There are three bigger ones under the fender

This was the first mod I did on my bike. It was a tight squeeze but like was said earlier a universal joint will make it easy. Definitely do it! I installed the Custom Dynamics led plate frame at the same time and it all really looks clean!

now just to put this out there and see if anyone has done this before knowing I am not that confident in doing this myself using the soft brake kit worried I will loose a nut in the process and say screw it all I was thinking if I were to use this http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/665...urn-Signal-Bar and the soft brake tombstone cover should do the full job relocating the plate and lighting it up and all I would have to do is make a couple wiring connections and remove the light bar bolts it looks easier but will run me a little more which I am not to worried about so long as it works. any one else tried this

It will probably be easier to just do the softbrake

I think your over thinking it, just take the cover off the back and put your hand up there to see how hard you think it'll be.
