the advice i got was to install these 6 to 8 inches from the rear of the exhaust pipe.for best performance and sound.do not use the holes that are there now for stock baffles,doing this on a set of bigshot longs.thanks for any exp, or info.

 

I don't think it matters too much. I had some that installed in the head pipe. I'd call them if you want a definate answer. They are pretty helpful.

I had BCT baffles in a set of V&H BR pipes and I thought they sounded great. Nicw deep tone. Mine were about 6-8 inches from the end of the headpipe (not the shields) per BCT instructions. The Bigshot Longsa are quite a bit longer and this may make a difference? I think you would be fine but if it were me I would call BCT and verify.
