Default Problem with front turn signals

Got an issue and need a little help. 07 Train with front bullet signals. switched to the smoke lens kit with new HD bulbs recently. As of late the left front running light wont come on. The signal works fine just not the running light. If I push on the bulb the running light works. Tried switching bulbs with the same problem. Its like its not making full contact. Ive put plenty of dielectric greese on it. Can I fix this some way or do I need to replace the signal?

I did the same kit and my whole right side wouldn't work, i hunted through wires, stressed over it for a couple of days.. then i started noticing that the front lense was melting, took off the cover and the whole thing was hot to the touch.. must've been a bad bulb cuz i switched back to stock and it worked fine..

Its not hot at all. Swapped the 2 bulbs around and same thing. Right side works fine left side dosnt. Even went as far as sticking the end of a tooth pick in there to tighten it up. Works great until the tooth pick loosens from bumps. Is there anyway to tighten up the socket to the bulb? This is driving me ape sh**!

hmm, that's weird with the toothpick. May have to just get a front signal.. I have two that came off a 07' but i think they may be for the rear.. I dont know if you can, but maybe if you can take the back part apart and see if any of the connections are loose inside the housing?

When you take the lens off and the bulb out you will see a small plastic plate toward the bottom of the blinker housing.........that plate has two contact points (silver bumps that stick up from the plate) below that plate is a spring. Maybe the spring has been compressed and the contacts aren't touching properly.

Is there anyway to tighten that spring up without having to tear apart the signal?
