Doing the big wiggle
It's been a couple of months since I've had a chance to get the Heritage out on the highway, but it got up to 65 deg here today. I rode into town, and was driving down the street about 40mph. Without much warning, the bike started to shift or wobble side to side, quickly, for about 30 or 40 feet, then stabilized. It felt like driving on a pressurized water hose laying length ways for a couple of seconds. After that, everything was back to normal. At first I thought I had a flat tire, but I must have run over a seam or crack running down the street. I never saw anything ahead or in the mirror, but it sure got my attention. The bike pre-flighted OK, and I looked it over when I got done for the day, everything's airworthy.
Up here we have depressions in the pavement caused by the heavy logging trucks. You don't really see them until you in one. The bike gets kind or "squirrely" because the tires are trying ride out the rut in the pavement. It disappears as fast as it appears.

Just to be sure....lift the bike up....and make sure front suspension is squared away.
