Default How good is your memory of the mid 90's?

Back in the mid 90's, HD had a color combo that was gray and pink. Anyone remember these bikes. The colors were reversed on two models of Softails. Anyone have the names of the colors, the paint codes or even pictures? Most of you probably would not buy one, but us ladies would love that color combo in a Deluxe.

I remember seeing those bikes but I don't remember the names or codes of the colors.

I remember what I think you're referring to.

A good friend of mine who passed away a few years ago from cancer rode a Wide Glide, a '98, I believe...it had a custom factory paint job...was dark metallic gray with salmon accent paint panels. He used to joke that it took a hell of a man to ride a Harley that had "pink" paint...he was a BIG wild looking guy, was a mechanic, and the bike ran like a bat out of Hell...

His was the only one I've seen, but it was a damn nice look...I think another friend has the bike in storage over in Ky now...

If you can't run down any info on the custom paint from that year, maybe I can see if I can get some pics of this one first chance I get?

I found out today that the colors were silver and magenta. The original owner has a fender in the paint colors. But he would also love to find the bike. I have located the last owner if she still had it, will know in a few days.

Karen, according to a book I have the color was probably "Sea Coral" (98600KM), used in 1992. The book only has color name/number so I can't tell what it looks like, but here's a link to some touch up paint that looks pink/salmon. Unfortunately they also list it as discontinued and unavailable from moco.
