Default Brown leather seat on a Night Train?

I'm thinking about getting a solo seat for my 2007 Night Train, probably a Le Pera Silhouette. Anyone have pics of a brown distressed leather solo seat, preferably on a black bike? I've searched but only come up with a couple, and none on night trains.

I can't decide if it would look good or not, especially since I'm thinking about getting a leather fender bib. Part of me would like to have something to break up all the black on the bike, and the other part of me thinks there's a good reason so many people have black seats.

I'd lean away from it, it won't look right. I was/am thinking about having my bare bones re-done and contacted quite a few leather guys. They all had different ideas, but all agreed on one thing, don't do brown.

I've seen a few really cool bare bones seats on this forum, and what really looks good is the way the guys go with a black base & then a trim color that matches their paint. A tastefull, clean & simple mod that has that custom touch.

I prefer a black seat on a train. Keep it all dark!

Trains, even if painted a color other than black, are meant to be mostly black. There's a reason they're called "Night" Trains. Night, as in dark. It's your bike though brother- do what thou whilst.

Call me different, but I think it'd look good, especially weathered.

Saw another member here say this and it sure fits this thread:

"I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit"

My opinion is the brown only looks good on white or really light colored machines, and even then black would have looked better!

My buddy's got a dyna wide glide with the hd brown seat. It looks good but he's got the flame paint job. You might try a really dark grey seat to give it some contrast

Yeah, brown seats don't look good on black bikes.
