Multiple issues
1) (From a previous thread) I decided to order a chrome thunderheader as it's more in line with my bike theme. Is there a tuner (fuelpak/PC?) that's better than the rest?
2) I've had these Alloy art strut turn lights forever. Does anyone have working knowledge of the best way to connect them? Is there an OEM connector that I should be using? I've currently have the tri-bar LED brake light on if that tidbit helps?
3) For those in California: What's proper road etiquette for when you're splitting lanes and some jackass in a Mercedes decides to change lanes while you're passing him? Fortunately he didn't send me down but he jacked up my front peg, took off my back one completely, and screwed up my saddle bag latch. I took out his mirror and possibly left a dent. Was I in the wrong or was he? Just trying to get clarification.

In California it is technically legal for two vehicles to occupy a single lane at the same time. This is why "Lane Splitting" is "Sort of" OK. The "Sort of" part is that it is up to the interpretation of the Leo who sees you; to decide if you are driving recklessly. General common knowledge is that going more than 10 MPH over the speed of the traffic is frowned upon . . . which is why everyone who lane splits completely ignores this rule of thumb. But I digress . . . if you are lane splitting and you come into contact with another vehicle you are at fault. Since you are the overtaking vehicle, the car in front or that you pull along side of has the right of way and can use any or all of the lane pretty much when and how they wish. If you get in the way that would be your fault. Since I'm guessing that you left the scene? It would appear that you could also be cited for a hit and run? Is your license number long and hard to remember? This sort of thing can get real ugly . . . .
1- The most common is Power Commander from Fuel Moto. Download a map that matches your filter and pipes. The best is a SEST or TTS and have it dyno tuned.
2 - Looks like two wires, just connect them. Solder is best.
3 - This is why I do not lane share unless all cars are stopped at either a red light or stop sign. Sharing lanes in moving traffic is a huge gamble with too great of loss at stake.
