I have this one which I strap down above my headlight. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
Just came back from the dealer and put an oil filter in it, and it already had a phone, pack of cigarettes, lighter and a Cabela's mini multi-tool.

Here's my Leatherworks bag (above headlight):

It carries a surpring amount of stuff. I'm prepping for the trip to Laughlin now, and have a tube sock containing several tools, a water bottle, a bottle of detail spray, and a microfiber cloth in it. There's still room for glasses or a pair of gloves. This one is 3 years old and still looks great... and it's been in the rain a few times. The secret is to let it air dry (not bake dry in the sun), and then treat it with mink oil, Lexol, or something similar.

This is also the one I use. I picked mine up on ebay.

Everything I have for the Laughlin trip is in my T Bag. The tool bag has an air pressure gauge in it. Mr. Lucky and the tube sock. I learn something everyday.

Do you guys find that the bags leave scuffs on the contact areas? Even with regular cleanings, my wife's fork HD bag has left scuffs on the lower triple that I can't easily buff out. Would a clear static cling prevent this? We only luggage up for trips and such, otherwise we are pocket warriors. Dirt and wind makes nice sandpaper.

I ordered the one from Fox Creek.....

I looks to be exactly what I'm looking for.....iPhone, garage door opener, multi-tool, tire pressure gauge and insurance card.

Default Fork Bag v Windshield Bag

FYI, I have both a fork bag and windshield bag from Fox Creek. Make sure you check which one you want. The windshield bag is smaller, fits in front of the windshield, and has no straps. The fork bag is larger and I use it to carry tools. The windshield bag is great for garage door openers, keys, shades, etc. SJ Ron

The one I bought has the nylon straps....it should go around the bars just outside of the risers.
