Default For those with a fork bag....

I'm getting sick of having my iPhone, garage door opener, insurance card in my front pockets when I ride.

I was thinking about getting this small fork bag from Fox Creek...
http://www.foxcreekleather.com/104-h...-duty-tool-bag

I like to size and look, but I need to know how wide it is from the risers...end to end to make sure it would fit. Thanks for any help!

Its been my experience that leather fork bags start look'n narley after running in the rain a few times. I would suggest an alternative: Put the garage door opener in your dash panel, your phone in your pocket (don't want to go off and leave it on the bike), and your paperwork in a metal teardrop tool box (inside a ziplock bag). Your call.

I'm going to run with a 5" swingarm bag. I'm guessing it will acquire a nice "patina" (LOL) after a while, but this way I can carry a sweater as well, I hope.

Bagless is a lot more challenging than I thought!

I like swing arm bags, but not on my bike. I like the idea of something right in front of me. I guess for $50 it might be worth giving it a shot.

I need to do some kind of bag on my bike as well. Just to carry small junk. My arms are fire engine red after riding 7 hours on Saturday without sun screen. Glad the pain is gone today but I still look funny today walking around like this. haha

How do you like it?

You've had all types of storage, you'd be the one to ask....I noticed your fork bag as I was drooling over your latest pics!

I like having a fork bag as it is just enough room to carry my necessitates. That one in my newest pic is actually a really cheap bag I found in my apartment. My leatherworks bag is around here somewhere, I need to find it and put it on.

I got the 30 dollar pouch from HD. Just need to hit the hardware store and get some thick wire ties and it will be on.
